The transformation of the former Deeside Power Station site continues. 🏗️

Our latest project footage from Triton Power Limited shows all 11 x INNIO Group's Jenbacher JMS624 gas engines now positioned within their enclosures, with installation works progressing rapidly across the site.

Delivered under a full project wrap by Clarke Energy, this 49MWe hydrogen-ready peaking plant is taking shape as a key piece of flexible energy infrastructure, designed to provide fast-response generation that supports grid stability and energy security for years to come.

It's fantastic to see the project moving from construction into the next phase as we work alongside our partners to connect this important facility into operation. ⚡

🚨In case you missed the recent news, we’ve secured a contract in Cote d'Ivoire…

Clarke Energy, a Rehlko company, has been selected by Capraci to design and deliver a 4MW natural gas-fuelled trigeneration power plant at its production facility in Abidjan.

The solution will simultaneously generate electricity, heat and cooling from a single fuel source, helping strengthen energy resilience, improve operational efficiency and support Capraci's long-term environmental objectives.

Powered by INNIO Group Jenbacher gas engines, the project will recover waste heat to produce superheated water for pasta manufacturing processes, while an absorption chiller will provide on-site cooling. This integrated approach enables greater energy efficiency across the facility.

We’re committed to strengthening our role as a trusted partner for high-efficiency energy solutions across West Africa, helping industrial businesses to streamline production, reduce emissions and support sustainability objectives.

Clarke Energy UK are taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge, raising funds for ANDYSMANCLUB 💙

On Friday 25th September, to mark Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, a team of Clarke Energy colleagues in the UK will take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds and awareness for Andys Man Club, a charity dedicated to preventing su***de and supporting men's mental health.

Mental health affects people across all walks of life, and ANDYSMANCLUB provides a vital network of free peer-to-peer support groups throughout the UK. By supporting our challenge, you'll be helping the charity continue its important work and raise awareness of the support available to those who need it most.

The Challenge:

The team will attempt to complete all three Yorkshire peaks in a single day:

🏔️ Distance: 24 miles (38.6 km) of continuous walking
🏔️ Total Ascent: 1,585 metres
🏔️ Peaks: Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough
🏔️ Target Time: Under 12 hours.

Walking 24 miles in one day is no easy feat. Most people don't regularly walk more than 10 miles, making the distance alone a significant challenge. Add in nearly 1,600 metres of climbing and the unpredictable Yorkshire weather, and it becomes a true test of endurance, determination and teamwork.

We're taking on this challenge not only to push ourselves physically, but to help raise awareness of su***de prevention and generate valuable funds for an incredible cause.

Spreading joy this Christmas 🎄

While Christmas is a time of celebration for many, it can also be challenging for families facing hardship. The UK team are proud to support our local community in Kirkby through the Kirkby Toy Appeal, helping to bring smiles to children and families in need.

This incredible initiative has supported over 400 families this year, and we’re honoured to have contributed to making a difference. Our hope is that these efforts bring joy and comfort to children and their families on Christmas Day.

A huge thank you to the volunteers and organisers who make this possible – your dedication truly changes lives. Thank you to all employees that donated to this amazing cause.

Clarke Energy, a Rehlko company, and INNIO Group are collaborating on a landmark project with Statera Energy to support UK grid stability and flexibility.⚡🔒

The full fleet of Jenbacher J624 engines have now been supplied to Thurrock Power, one of the world’s largest high-speed gas engine peaking plants. The 450MW flexible generation facility, being constructed by Statera Energy, will provide reliable, fast-start power to strengthen the grid in southeast England and power up to 1 million UK homes once fully operational.

The project also sits alongside Statera's Thurrock Storage site, a 300MW / 600MWh co-located battery energy storage system (BESS) designed to integrate with intermittent renewables.

Ben Wilson, Managing Director of Clarke Energy, commented:
