Autumn is the perfect time to complete structural maintenance and before the winter sets in so, as we head into October, make sure you check you have everything you need for your essential Autumn 🍁

**SOIL CONDITIONING** To ensure your soil is in good shape for spring, now is a good time to dig over tired summer borders and vegetable patches 🪏

**MULCHING & SUPPRESSING WEEDS** Heavy autumn rains 🌧️ combined with the remaining summer ground warmth can erode bare soil and help pesky weeds thrive. Laying keeps looking clean through the winter and can help to protect your sun loving plants by regulating ground temperature.

**FIXING FENCE POSTS** Repairing loose fence panels and posts now can save you money and hassle in the long-term, before high winter winds can relocate that fence panel to someone else's garden.

**IMPROVING CONTAINER DRAINAGE** Preparing your potted plants to improve drainage helps protect roots from rotting during the rainier months, and let's face it - the gets its fair share of those!

St. Mary's is your one-stop shop for these, and many other, essential and this Autumn 🍂, offering a well stocked selection of and , including:

✅ Screened topsoil - for healthy borders and veg patches
