Craigs - & our new in-house RCS brand - have landed in Italy.

Gary Dalzell and George Caskey arrived yesterday ahead of Marmomac 2026, which gets underway today in Verona.

Marmomac brings together the global natural stone industry - from quarrying and stone processing to the latest machinery, technologies and tooling.

For us, it's a great opportunity to spend a few days immersed in the industry, catch up with many of our customers attending the show and continue developing the product and supplier relationships behind our growing RCS Stone Diamonds offering.

And they wasted no time getting started!

Gary and George caught up with one of our newest suppliers, DJDIN Diamond Tools, over a gorgeous meal last night before heading to the show this morning.

With our new in-house diamond blade retipping service also getting underway at Craigs, there's plenty for the pair to see, learn and talk about over the next few days and judging by last night's socialising, Verona isn't treating them too badly so far! 😆🇮🇹

Give your diamond blades a new lease of life at Craigs! 💎🛠️

A bit of a milestone for our team recently as we completed our first in-house retipping of stone diamond blades.

Rather than replacing an entire blade when the diamond segments are worn, retipping allows us to assess your existing blade, replace the worn segments and inspect it before putting it back to work - extending the usable life of the blade and getting more from the original investment.

And we're not exactly starting small! 😆

The first batch ranged from 600mm right up to an impressive 1600mm, with our new equipment capable of handling blades from approximately 400mm upwards.

It's another service we're pleased to be able to offer our stone and construction customers directly from Craigs - backed by a team that understands the equipment, the application and what our customers need to keep working.

Winner, winner, football winner! ⚽

It was great to welcome Christopher Boulton into Craigs recently to collect his Norton Abrasives/Norton Clipper World Cup Competition prize from Jess Loat.

The Craigs team is in Munich this week for IFAT🌍

Our Managing Director David Craig has been at the RICO PIPE Inspection stand all week as he not only connects with valued and long standing partners, but our customers from Northern Ireland, Ireland and further afield.

A highlight so far has been welcoming Patrick Buckley and Iggy Haran while Bernhard Gierl, Félix Ladouceur and Christian Koch were at the stand.

As a key partner, RICO continues to play an important role in delivering high-quality camera inspection solutions to our customers for their projects.
