Another bespoke VASA 25 Litre Drum Cleaning System installed! 👏
This unit has been supplied to a major chemical distributor at their London facility, where it will form part of a newly installed automatic filling line.
The system has been designed to clean up to nine 25L plastic drums per cycle, which are used for highly corrosive liquids. Instead of manually cleaning and disposing of these containers, the client can now safely clean and reuse them - reducing plastic waste, lowering packaging costs and improving operator safety. 🚿
Given the nature of the product, the machine was built specifically for the application, including a special lining inside the wash chamber to withstand the highly corrosive environment.
The system also features automatic wash water reuse, continuously recirculating the cleaning solution and only draining the tank once preset parameters are reached. This helps minimise water consumption, reduce effluent and keep the process as efficient as possible.
