🎉 Celebrating the Retirement of Bob Chorlton 🎉
Today we say a heartfelt thank you and a very fond farewell to Bob Chorlton, who is retiring after 14 incredible years with Metcalfe Farms Haulage Ltd as a Heavy Haulage Driver.
Bob has been an outstanding member of the team—dedicated, skilled, and respected by colleagues and customers alike. One of his final jobs summed up his professionalism perfectly:

“Bob’s involvement with dispatching and receiving the machines from the venues has been very complimentary. Everything has worked well, been on time, and has been professionally done.”

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Education: Degree in Transport Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: Previous experience in transport planning or logistics within the haulage industry is essential.
• Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication for interacting with colleagues.
• IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with transport management software.
