Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.

We were called out as the owner of this 2019 Mercedes A250 was dealing with a nightmare. An alarm that kept going off randomly, even while driving. After being told they'd likely need a £1,000 module, and being let down by other mobile mechanics, it wasn't looking good.

Instead of just guessing and throwing expensive parts at it, we got the tools out and had a proper look. It turned out the expensive module was fine, the real issue was a hidden voltage drop tripping the security system.

We supplied, fitted, and coded a new battery, cleared the fault logs, and saved the customer a massive bill without them ever having to leave the house.

We were called out to this Citroën DS3 because the owner was completely sick of jump-starting it.

We went hunting for the power leak on-site and found corrosion inside the BSU. It was causing an internal relay to stick, causing the battery to drain overnight while the car was locked up.

Cleaned it all out, replaced the BSU, and no more flat batteries.

The owner called us out because this W-reg Peugeot Boxer was completely dead on the driveway and refusing to start.

Turned out to be two separate issues working against them: some loose ground cables under the bonnet, and a faulty connection to the immobiliser ring around the ignition key barrel.

Cleaned up the wiring, fixed the connection, and it starts and runs first time. Ready for the next road trip!

We were recently called out to assist a customer with a stunning Range Rover L405. The issue? The trailer lighting system had completely failed.

In many cases, a main dealership might recommend a full control module replacement, a costly and time consuming "solution." However, we believe in a diagnostic-first approach.

By conducting testing on-site, we identified the root cause. It didn't need a new module, just a few fresh fuses and a system reset to restore communication.

Result: System fully operational, customer back to towing, and significant cost savings achieved.

Out on a mobile call today for a Peugeot Partner with a totally dead blower motor. With summer on the way, having absolutely zero airflow in the cab is miserable.

The cause? Water had got in through the firewall, rotted the wiring, and completely corroded the BSM.

We swapped out the ruined fuse box for a fresh one, but to save the customer from buying a ridiculously expensive brand-new wiring loom, we built a custom fix for the rest of it right there in the van. Ran fresh wires and neatly tucked a heavy-duty relay into the new fuse box so the fans run safely off the ignition.

Air con is back on, the cab is freezing cold again, and we saved them a massive bill.

No Pump, No Problem!

We were called out to a John Deere 6130M this week that was left stranded in the yard. The machine was stuck in Limp Mode due to a common culprit: a faulty AdBlue (SCR) pump.

Instead of a costly mechanical replacement and the risk of future downtime, we provided a custom software solution. We performed a complete AdBlue/SCR system delete, permanently bypassing the faulty hardware and removing the need for AdBlue top-ups entirely.

One of our customers' Kramer telehandlers was plagued with AdBlue SCR system faults. As expected, the bill to diagnose and repair the system was looking costly, not to mention putting the machine out of action.
While on-site to map his John Deere 6250R, we sorted the Kramer with a custom map:
AdBlue Delete: Removed the SCR system and cleared all fault codes permanently.
Eco Map: Optimized the engine for better fuel efficiency and a marginal performance boost.
Big savings for the customer with zero AdBlue usage, no repair bills for the SCR system, and lower fuel consumption across the board.
