Monday 31st August is International Overdose Awareness Day - a day when people across the world come together to remember those affected by overdose and to challenge the stigma that surrounds it. 25 years on, this work is still needed.
Overdose is preventable. Timely access to care and support, education, naloxone, evidence-based treatment and recovery resources saves lives.
Join us at the Lerwick Flower Park, 8pm - 10pm, to light a candle for those we have lost, support those affected by overdose, and to raise awareness that overdose can be prevented.
The event is open to all - come along for a chat, a cuppa and a chance to reflect.
