ADMIN ASSISTANT

We are a construction company who operate just outside of Leominster and we currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic person to join our sales and contracts team, to assist with the general duties of a busy and demanding office.

You will work with other members of the team to ensure the smooth operation of the projects, possess good computer skills and will need to be methodical and have attention to detail.

Hours will be 20 - 25 per week by negotiation.

Existing Industrial building to be dismantled Shrewsbury area.

38m clear span portal x 54m long x 6m to eaves.

Steelwork, purlins and rails are as new as- £58,000 plus VAT.

Cladding and gutters are in good condition but would not comply with today’s industrial building standards.

Roller shutter doors also available.

We were pleased to assist 151 - Leominster Squadron Air Training Corps with some prizes for their fundraising duck race earlier in the summer and very grateful to receive this note from them thanking us for the support.

Lovely to see active youth groups in the area doing wonderful things and looking so smart in their group photograph. 🤩

Not all hero’s wear capes 🦸

Here at JRC, and our sister company Elms Green Woodchip we like to celebrate our staff and the events of nearly 2 weeks ago are a time when they should certainly be recognised.

What started as a normal Saturday morning could have ended in certain disaster, but for the quick and heroic actions of our CHP engineer Mike. Whilst loading Woodchip into the hoppers he noticed that an electrical fire had started and was quickly spreading up through the machine. Aware of the dangers of leaving the machine in the shed he drove the machine, with a rapidly progressing fire to safety, averting a certain disaster for the building that he had just been in and other surrounding buildings.

Our lorry driver, who had just left the yard having just loaded the trailer with Woodchip, had glanced the fire out of the corner of his eye and drove down to the roundabout, turned around and drove back, where he used the pressure washer to keep the building from catching light until the fire brigade arrived.

We cannot thank Mike and Neil enough for what they did on that day, and whilst we would never encourage anyone to put themselves at risk when faced with such circumstances, when people do so then they should be fully commended for their actions.

We also are very grateful to both Leominster Fire Station and Kingsland fire station.
