If you are a domestic customer, you can access the Arbour Landscape Solutions collection by recommending us to your landscaper or garden designer. Trade registration is quick to carry out and free. Some of the Arbour team will be attending Evergreen’s 40th Birthday Open Evening in Surrey on Tuesday 22nd September, and it’s looking to be a fantastic evening for anyone working in horticulture, landscaping and garden design.

Here’s what’s in store...

🌳 The chance to explore the exhibitors’ displays, glasshouses and nursery

And importantly, the evening will also be raising funds for Perennial, the charity supporting people working in horticulture and landscaping.

As it’s , we wanted to highlight a charity we’ve been proud to support for many years... Greenfingers Charity.

Greenfingers creates beautiful, therapeutic gardens for children’s hospices across the UK, giving children with life limiting conditions and their families a place to relax, play, make memories and simply enjoy being outdoors.

We’re proud to play a small part in their work. A proportion of the sales revenue from selected products we supply is donated to Greenfingers, while we have also provided paving materials to a couple of their garden projects, one of which is in the process of being built.

We’re delighted to support the work Greenfingers do. 💚

The 'stack bond' laying pattern...

Minimalist and architectural. The clean, grid-like pattern lends itself to modern designs and formal layouts. Take care when considering this laying pattern for driveways or in areas or heavily trafficked areas. A stack bond is not considered to have sufficient structural integrity to cope with the pressures exerted by twisting and turning vehicle wheels.

Now THIS is an outdoor kitchen!

Natural stone, timber, planting and contemporary finishes come together beautifully in this outside living space, built by Nick and the team at N.P Garden and Landscaping services Ltd.

Our tumbled natural stone walling creates a warm, textured backdrop to the darker structure and cabinetry, adding a natural contrast to the contemporary design.

It’s a great example of how the right combination of materials can transform an outdoor space, creating a kitchen and entertaining area that feels like a natural extension of the home.

Daniel March made a real impact on the garden design scene in 2025, when his show garden, The Garden of Two Tales, won not one, but two awards at RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival. 🌿

Taking home Gold, Best Garden of Curiosity and the People’s Choice Award, the garden attracted plenty of attention from the press and public.

At just 42 square metres, The Garden of Two Tales demonstrates how much can be achieved in a relatively small space. Designed to create peace and serenity, the garden invites you to stop, explore and take notice of the planting, wildlife and intriguing water feature.

We were proud to supply landscaping materials for the garden, so Anna caught up with Dan to find out more about his journey into garden design and what inspires his work.

What inspired you to become a garden designer?

“As the youngest in the family, I developed a love for being outside in the garden, pottering around my grandparents place and editing things in the garden to improve them. Which has now turned into the joy of being able to create spaces that are not just functional but are places of which clients love to be in.”

What advice would you offer newly qualified designers?

“Take every opportunity to learn from someone you can and get your hands dirty, try to get involved in as many parts of the process as you can.”
