Modelling new steelwork onto an existing structure is always a challenging and difficult task. However we always breathe a sigh of relief when we are told we will receive a point cloud survey. There is always an element of risk when working with existing structures but having a point cloud survey undertaken reduces that risk to pretty much zero! (not zero but pretty close).

This isn't one of our bigger projects by no means but it has been pretty challenging. All approved and issued for fabrication.
