SHEET METAL FABRICATOR / SHEET METAL WORKER X2
Radial Line Sheet Metal Ltd are a manufacturing firm, with a strong customer base within the food manufacturing industries. we supply food quality stainless steel fabrications and pipe work along with general engineering services and quality sheet metal work and welding to the food manufacturing industries from our friendly work environment based in Leigh Lancashire.
We continue to grow Our customer base and now required 2 skilled Sheet Metal Workers to join our small close-knit team.
The Role - Sheet Metal Fabricator
- Sheet Metal Fabrication
-Working on bespoke productions such as one offs or small batches of bespoke fabrications
- Fabrication from engineering drawings (You will be able to read and work straight from drawings) and have good TIG welding ability to a food manufacturing and chemical industry standard would be advantageous as would any self polishing experience.
- MIG and TIG Welding
- Working mainly with stainless steel but with all other metals.
The Person - Welder Fabricator
- Sheet Metal Fabrication experience is essential
-need to have a City & Guilds/NVQ 3/or equivalent qualification in Pipe Fitting, Welding, Sheet Metal Work Plating
- Experience and a good ability to TIG and MIG Weld to a high standard is essential
- You will need to be able to use fabrication machinery and tools, including Press Brakes
- Must be able to work from engineering drawings
- You need to be able to use your own initiative and work independently
The Package - Welder Fabricator
-Hourly Rate depending upon skills and experience
-Overtime Available at "Time & Third" Midweek and "Time & Half" on Saturdays “Double Time” on Sundays.
-Standard Hours 39 hours a week
-Times Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am till 3.30pm.
-Annual Leave 20 days per Year running January to December plus the 8 Bank Holidays
(We are also looking to recruit several self employed contractors to have on our books for larger jobs to assist us as and when needed)

Last day at radial line tomorrow. Would like to thank Kay Justin Ganley for having me there for the past 5/6 years and putting up with me. The presents for the baby and the bottle are amazing and I really appreciate it. Now it's time to move on to the next chapter of my life as I set up home down in Kent with the wife and await for out little girl to come along
