Please be aware if you’re trying to get to your boat that the workmen currently getting ready to desilt the brook are having regular deliveries of machinery on the single track road, and as such are making it very difficult to get through so you may need to add more time for the journey! Also take care as there is mud being dragged out on to the highway

I’m so sad, actually I’m devastated for the family of the latest ‘Daddy Angel’: birthday greetings’ bollard topper. It has been stolen. The family have been searching the streets and bins in desperation as they feel like they are ‘losing him all over again’.
This was meant for his young children. It even has their nicknames sewn onto it, affectionate names he had given to them.
There will be no repercussions to you if you return it now. Drop it into a shop, so it can be returned to this grieving family.
Please, do the right thing.
