Finalising the plumbing on mega e30, fuel system is close to being finished, oil cooler all plumbed in, making a beautiful two pass rad, AN16 inlet/outlet, just the stat housing to convert & AN4 expansion tank to get that finished

Sunday freshen up before another flat out week! Engine will be going back into e30 to continue with plumbing so keep an eye out for updates!

Had to remake the outer chassis leg in the Renault 5, one day the rust repairs will end and we can start the fun stuff! Really looking forward to the rebuild, get the engine looking brand new, hybrid turbo, fancy exhaust, new rad/intercooler etc

Last few weeks antics. mini back in for some pre season tweaks, getting the fit up dialled in on the Renault 5 turbo, a fuel pump bracket for after finalising the system, My EG waiting to be fixed, Scotts internal plumbing bracket for AN6 feed & return, AN3 braided brake lines & battery cable, and my face covered in underseal

Getting this fully forged S54 kitted out with the new fuel rail and reg fitted, larger injectors ready for a dry fit before paint! Old bodges in the wiring rectified, new PS pump, new alternator, stat housing it being converted to AN16 ready for the new radiator, all old crusty hardware replaced with stainless and the whole lot has been coated in ACF50 to keep it looking mint

e30 is looking very serious.
8 point FIA cage fully welded in, fuel tank panels welded up, dash is now mounted around the cage, pedal have been cut off & slimmed down then welded back on 1” to the left for clearance, throttle properly mounted with the correct bracket, race heater and controls all mounted and wired in too! We’ve been busy, engine is getting built up next & put back in so we can sort the plumbing!

Race heater mounted into , now the roll cage is in place we can see what room we have and where best to mount certain elements. Packaging is key with minimal room, the blower motor and all the wiring tucked together with next to the power bulkhead for easy routing, need to modify the brake pedal rod then we can start to run the plumbing and get the dash back in

New inner & outer sill on the Renault 5 turbo, the jacking point has been removed & repaired underneath along with the floor & sill end cap. The repair is spot welded in the factory locations, planished flat, painted with etch primer awaiting cavity wax when it’s ready & a final coat of raptor

Land Rover glow up complete! It’s been for a full detail inside & out with , full service, under sealed, new bumper with DRLS & the wheels Powdercoated! It’s not perfect, but it’s honest.
