In a word... crazy! We hardly took a breath on our stand today, speaking with our customers past, present and future. Thank you to everyone who came to see us. But we arent done yet! Day 3 is set to be just as incredible 🏎🏁

One of our not-so-motorsport projects that we've completed recently, in conjunction with the wonderful volunteers at Sunshine Hospital Radio - Weston super Mare.

We designed and manufactured an easy to clean, low maintenance and interchangeable framing system to create a 6m span of artwork, whilst satisfying the strict health and safety requirements of a hospital environment. We can't wait to see it installed for ourselves soon, and hope it brings joy to those who pass by it in Weston General Hospital

We're delighted to announce the unveiling of a new wall art display that adorns a hospital corridor with 60 carefully selected record covers. This colorful installation not only brightens the space but also serves as a delightful talking point for staff, patients, and visitors alike. 🙂

The project, two years in the planning, was inspired by the observation that those with dementia often recall the past more vividly. The team carefully curated a mix of record sleeves from various genres, decades, and musicians, ensuring that each piece of artwork was special and evocative. Hospital staff will be able to bring patients, particularly those with conditions such as dementia, to see the display and discuss happy memories of musicians they recognise.

“We wanted this display to do more than decorate,” said Mike Parker, project leader from Sunshine Hospital Radio. “It had to include successful and recognisable artists that would spark nostalgic conversations and lift the spirits of those who encounter it. Narrowing down the selection down to 60 was incredibly tricky!”

A notable feature of the installation is its prime location on the ground floor of the Weston hospital. Positioned directly opposite the Sunshine Hospital Radio studio and next to the hospital pharmacy, this eye-catching display ensures that everyone passing through will have the chance to enjoy it.

ACW Plastics played an essential role in bringing this project to life by designing a bespoke framing system tailored specifically to safely showcase the record covers. Their expert team generously donated their time and provided a significant discount, ensuring that the final installation not only met our high standards but also remained within our budget. We are hugely grateful to ACW Plastics for their support and commitment to our charity.😊
