Removal of main shaft from Molly, Our 1929 Fowler DNA steam roller.

The journal has become deformed and requires welding and machining, along with bedding the bronze bearings for the upcoming show season.

Some recent works carried out by us at SMS Ltd

80 series Landcruiser rear bar fabrication including paint and rust inhibitor.

Design, Fabrication, paint and installation of custom MAN TGE expedition roof rack, Designed to accommodate large solar panels, global Internet system and recovery boards.

Refurbishment of hilux chassis and upgrades made to a tray back for it, including new removable ladder racks. Chassis painting and preservative application and welding.

Refurbishment of a classic fibreglass Canadian canoe and painting using marine grade paint.

Upkeep and repairs of our 96 year old Fowler DNA steam roller (The one in our logo) including preparation for yearly testing and inspection.

Hand forged 30 inch sword, made from 1075

Need to even up the bevels before heat treat, need to build a long quench tank first though!!
