The late Thorburn & Mary Leitch, former owners, employed 5 members of staff bank in the day. It was so busy that a dumb waiter was installed to aid the well oiled machine they built together.
It’s a real sign of the times that the shop is now a one man band. It’s a timely reminder to shop local & keep our wee shops open.
