📊 Crop & Yield Monitoring Specialist – Soft Fruit | Norfolk 🍓

We’re looking for someone analytical and organised to help manage crop forecasting and yield monitoring for our modern strawberry operation in Norfolk. 🌱

This role is perfect for someone with horticulture knowledge and strong Excel skills who enjoys working with data and crop performance.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK. Proof of eligibility will be required prior to employment, in line with UK employment legislation.

Responsibilities
📅 Creating annual and weekly crop forecasts
🌦️ Monitoring yields and updating forecasts based on weather conditions
📊 Tracking crop performance and production data
🤝 Working with farm managers to plan harvest volumes
🌿 Supporting other crop husbandry and farm tasks depending on the season

What we're looking for
🍇 Experience with soft fruit / berries preferred
💻 Strong Excel and data analysis skills
🧠 Logical and organised thinker
🔄 Ability to adapt forecasts based on crop and weather conditions

🍓 Farm Supervisor – Soft Fruit Production | Norfolk 🌱

We are looking for an experienced Farm Supervisor to join our modern strawberry operation in Norfolk, managing teams across our glasshouse and field production. 🌿

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with soft fruit or berry growing experience who enjoys leading teams and maintaining high production standards.

Responsibilities
🌾 Supervising daily farm operations
👥 Managing teams working in the glasshouse and fields
🍓 Supporting crop husbandry and harvest operations
✅ Ensuring quality and productivity standards are met
📋 Working closely with management to plan operations

What we're looking for
🍇 Experience in soft fruit / berry production
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Previous supervisory or team leadership experience

Raspberries are pushing fresh growth 🌱

It’s 🌍 World Wildlife Day 🐾 so we thought we’d share a few photos from the wildlife camera we had set up at Hill Farm 📸🌾 for most of last year.

As part of our LEAF Conservation focus on Turtle Doves 🕊️, we’ve been keeping an eye on what’s using the habitat 🌿🌱. We’re still waiting to capture a Turtle Dove on this particular camera 🤞📷, but it’s picked up plenty of other visitors along the way 🦊🦌🐇 (and more pigeons than we can count).

The Turtle Dove shown here 🕊️ was recorded on a separate wildlife camera at Weald View North Farm 🌄 — proof that they’re around and why this work is worth doing 💚🌾.

It’s always interesting to see what’s moving through the farm when no one’s watching 🌙✨.

We believe good food should never go to waste — and this year, we’re proud of the impact we’ve made alongside City Harvest London.

✨ Our 2025 donations have helped deliver:

🍽️ 16,386 meals to charities feeding their local communities
🥕 6.9 tonnes of surplus food rescued for people who need it most
🌍 4.8 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions diverted from going to waste

By redistributing surplus food, we’re helping families across London facing tough choices like “heat or eat?”, while also doing our bit for the planet.
