And that's how race 2 ended, James P1 closely followed home by Jamie.
So another visit to the technical area to be weighed etc and also the inlet restrictor just in front of the throttle body was measured to make sure it wasn't too big and therefore able to flow more air into the engine. Perfectly fine 👍.
The cars are released from parc fermè now, so we're getting them ready for race 3 later this afternoon.
Could be wet. 🤔

This is the 'flat patch' as they're sometimes known for the G40 series which is similar to our G56 setup.
The square pads contain load cells which measure the weight and they're perfectly level which allows us to measure ride height ( which there is a minimum) and suspension angles such as camber.

After the race, several cars are chosen by the scrutineers for checking to make sure they conform to the championship regulations.
One of the regs concerns the weight of the car including the driver. There is a minimum weight and all of the cars must be above it.
Here's our car being weighed on the official series scales.
