Our employees are all highly qualified with a wealth of experience that is backed up by a comprehensive training programme. All our staff are directly employed with site operatives holding CSCS/ CPCS and Site Supervisors SMSTS / SSSTS as a minimum requirement. We have recently established our own construction training school based in Northwich, Cheshire. As part of our development, we are committed to developing our infrastructure and organisation to reduce emissions where possible.

โ™ป๏ธ By aiming to use local waste transfer stations and yards closer to job sites where possible, we can reduce transport emissions significantly. Along with using ride shares, where operators travel to the same sites.

โ™ป๏ธ Our biggest change is the planned use of an alternative onsite fuel, hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO). HVO fuel can help to reduce emissions by up to 90% during operation compared to a heavy fuel such as diesel, while only costing marginally more. Making it a very effective change.

Our goal is to achieve NetZero emissions by 2050, making Cummins a business built to last.

As a groundworks contractor for Cadent Gas, we constructed a new 25m cofferdam to lower the gas main height, enabling the installation of a staircase for access to the lower-level car park at Stockport Station.
