It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sad passing of Tam McLean.

Tam was a great engineer who passed on his knowledge to many colleagues including Keith throughout the years. He has been a huge part of Keith’s life for 40 + years and became the backbone of the company.

He was the toughest person we have ever known. Never faltered even while battling illness. Smeaton will never be the same without him. He will be sorely missed by many.

An idea became reality for Keith when he was given permission to restore the Lochore Meadows Country Park pug. He wanted the community to enjoy the pug the way he had during his childhood.

After a few years of restoration, it was a pleasure to return it to its rightful place in the park.

It would not have been possible without the generousity of some companies, namely:
