✅ Project Delivered | 5G LTE & IWOCS Cabling Installation – Drill Ship Transit

In Q1 2026, EuroTech UK mobilised a team of electrical technicians to join a drill ship in Las Palmas for a transit to Egypt.

During the voyage, our specialists installed full cabling infrastructure for a new 5G LTE system and the IWOCS system. This included cable routing and termination, while the vessel was underway.

In late Q4 2025, during the festive period, our team of CompEx-certified electrical technicians successfully replaced the top drive service loop on a drill ship at a shipyard in Las Palmas, Canary Islands.

Working to strict hazardous area standards, the scope included removal of the old loop, installation, termination, testing, and certification — all completed safely and on schedule despite the seasonal challenges.

⚙️ Project Spotlight – Mud Logging System Install (Q2)

Our team recently completed the installation of a full 3rd-party Vendor Mud Logging System on a Jack-Up rig, starting in Malta and finishing offshore in Libya ahead of the rig’s contract start-up.

Scope highlights:
✅ Supplied and installed all cabling & materials
✅ Rope Access Team & Electricians collaborated offshore
✅ Cable containment and transits installed & sealed correctly
✅ Sensors and junction boxes fitted in accordance with IEC60079 (Hazardous Area compliance)
