Been a while since I've posted.
This is the start of a solar PV install I have going on at the moment. Not due to be completed until early 2022. But while the roof is stripped off its worth installing the brackets.
It's a first for me to be involved in the whole process as I have previously only be involved after the solar brackets were installed.
Interesting learning journey. From design, to figuring out how the slates finish around the brackets.

I have recently been sent the following information in regards to testing a public building. It notes that the electrician should be "full scope" not just a domestic installer (DI). Although a domestic installer should have the relevant inspection and testing qualifications, it may mean that as the organisation that they are part of does not allow them to carry out industrial or commercial works as part of the scheme. Therefore they may not have the necessary insurance in place should something go wrong.
Also, many domestic installers are not included in the private rental scheme (P R S) register for similar reasons.
Worth double checking that the electrician you use is working to a full scope scheme, your insurance company might insist on this somewhere in the small print.
