Burton Beef is a family farm in Highburton producing proper grass-fed, home-grown beef with low food miles. We also offer fully funded, hands-on school farm visits that teach children about food, farming and the environment.

🎄✨ CHRISTMAS SELECTION BOXES ✨🎄

I’m putting the feelers out to see if there would be enough interest in our much loved Christmas Selection Boxes! ❤️

💵£12.00 per box

Each box will contain 16 pieces of homemade fudge — 4 of each flavour:

🤎 Biscoff
🤍 White Chocolate
🍊 Chocolate Orange
🍫 Kinder

Want just one flavour? No problem! A box of a single flavour can be made on request. 🎁

Everything is homemade with no additives or preservatives, which means the fudge has a shorter shelf life — so boxes will be made closer to Christmas Day to keep them as fresh as possible.

📋 Pre-orders will be required if there is enough interest, with collection from the farmhouse on a date to be confirmed closer to Christmas.

🚗 Delivery may be available for larger orders within close proximity — please ask when ordering.

A big thank‑you to Kath at Maks Hair Studio in Kirkburton for joining in with the start of our calving season by crocheting me this adorable calving cow and calf 🧶🐄🐄

The cow even has her own little eartag, which absolutely made my day!

Such a thoughtful, fun way to kick off the season — thank you Kath, we knew you were a fab hairdresser but didn't know you are a talented crafter too! 🌾💛

We will once again be offering school farm visits this autumn and winter — places are limited, so early booking is recommended!

🐄🧣 Come say hi to our animals and see how we keep them warm and comfy through the colder months.

🍂🛠️ Look at the machinery used on the farm, hear the sounds of a real working farm, and dive into activities linked to the National Curriculum.

🏫🌾🤩 A MASSIVE thank you to all the brilliant schools who’ve visited us this year! 🏫🌾🤩

Your pupils arrived with big smiles, big curiosity, and sometimes big squeals when the animals said hello 😂🐓🐮

We’ve loved every moment — from brave hands stroking the cows 🐄✋, to excited races to spot the hens first 🐔🏃‍♀️💨, to the huge WOW! faces when they saw all the big farm machines 🚜😮✨

And the activities… just incredible!
🧈✨ Making butter like real little farmers
🌱🌼 Planting seeds and proudly showing off their pots
🖍️🎨 Chalking masterpieces across our massive blackboard

Thank you for all the amazing drawings and the lovely thank‑you letters you’ve sent afterwards — they’ve truly made our day every time ❤️📬🌟
