Last night we assisted in the successful recovery of two ATV's belonging to a customer of ours in Fife, thanks to BikeTrac and Datatool tracking systems the vehicles were both located quickly and efficiently with help from Police Scotland.

It's always massively inconvenient to lose an ATV, even more so during a busy time of year, such as lambing time, when these machines are so heavily relied upon to ensure livestock welfare.

Preventative anti-theft measures are a great way of keeping your insurance premiums down as well as protecting your valuable assets when you need them the most!

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

•We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Agricultural Engineer to join our team.

•This is a hands-on role focused primarily on the maintenance, repair, and servicing of small petrol engines, agricultural machinery, tractors and ATV's.

•The ideal candidate will be practical, self-driven, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

•Diagnose, repair, and service small petrol and diesel engines

•Assemble new ATV's and machinery for retail

•Maintain and repair a varied range of agricultural machinery and equipment

•Service and troubleshoot ATVs and related vehicles

•Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and fault finding

•Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety regulations

•Keep accurate service records and documentation

•Support workshop operations and occasionally assist with on-site repairs

Requirements

•Proven experience working with small engines, agricultural machinery, or similar equipment

•Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

•Knowledge of petrol and diesel engine systems and components

•Experience with ATVs is highly desirable

•Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

•Full UK driving licence (essential)

•Relevant qualifications in Agricultural Engineering / Land Based Service Engineering or similar (preferred but not essential with a good degree of experience)

Desirable Skills

•Welding and fabrication experience

•Basic electrical and hydraulic system knowledge

•Experience with modern diagnostic tools and equipment

Out and about this morning delivering hire machines for lambing season, we've had a really busy spell of late and apologise that we haven't been keeping you bang up to date with our goings on, unfortunately we have to juggle our social media alongside building new machines, servicing customers existing machines and the usual lambing time breakdowns!

However, it's never a bad complaint to be busy!!

The mighty Aodes Workcross 1000-3 HVAC, in desert sand colour scheme, boasting a 72hp 976cc V-twin petrol engine, complete with touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple Carplay, Bluetooth, AM/FM radio and screen share capabilities, Air Conditioned full cab with heater and continental windscreen, front and rear parking cameras, electronic power steering, gas strut assisted rear tip which can be tipped from either side, one handed tailgate operation, fitted those absolutely stunning looking 14" beadlock alloy wheels with 27" CST Stag tyres all round, 3500lbs front winch with radio remote, fully adjustable front and rear suspension with rebound, compression and spring rate adjustment. This machine comes fully homologated for road use from the factory with full road lighting kit.
