Border Trailer Services Service, upgrade and repair of trailers up to 3500Kg. NTTA approved 30 Point service and inspection. Faults with trailers can be dangerous. Don't get caught out.

Certificate provides assurance that trailer has been professionally serviced and checked. Servicing and repair rates (excluding VAT)

We carry a large stock of trailer parts for all makes and models. All service activ

ity includes new single use items where applicable (Hub nuts/ spit pins) and all consumables. If a trailer needs significant work, we can price accordingly and include the service as part of the repair fee, whichever works best for you.

Not a trailer in sight and off topic ,apologies, for your interest only. Sometimes, as a former aircraft engineer (Royal Air Force). I get asked to help out now and again. We replaced the silencer on this towplane at my gliding club last week. We don't just tighten up bolts and springs. We wirelock them into place as well to make sure they remain secure in flight

A nice change today. We were asked to look at a mountain bike trailer for a local private school. It had been lying dormant for 3 years. The tyres were perished well beyond safe limits and were 11 years old anyway.
On further inspection, brakes found to be delaminated and at risk of catastrophic jamming. The lights were inconsistent in operation (Bad earth somewhere).
We replaced the tyres and brakes, repacked the bearings with grease, replaced electrical plug assembly, undertook a full service and washed the green algae off. Looking and functioning like new now.
Ready for some uplift action once again.
