A huge congratulations to Allan Kennard, who has been named USP Steels’ Employee of the Month for August! 👏

Allan has gone above and beyond over the past month, putting in extra hours and playing a key role in making our move to Pedmore HQ as smooth as possible.

Always willing to lend a hand, always smiling and always bringing a positive attitude to the team, Allan’s hard work and support certainly haven’t gone unnoticed.

🎅 1,000-Tonne Order - Christmas has come early… and Chris has even worn his red shirt for the occasion! 🔔

What a way to wrap up the week before the bank holiday and the month first month in our new headquarters!

After 40+ years in sales, Chris has just landed the biggest order of his career - a huge 1,000 TONNES from one of his customers! 👏

As always, no order is official until the bell gets a ring… although judging by the punch machine, it seems his sales ability might be slightly better than his punching ability! 😂🥊

An incredible achievement and a brilliant way to round off the month. Well done, Chris! 👏

USP Steels has officially moved to our new location on Pedmore Road, Dudley, West Midlands, DY2 0RL.

Our new site gives us increased capacity and greater capability, allowing us to hold more stock, handle greater volumes and strengthen the reliable service our customers depend on across the UK, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.

More space means more capacity to support our customers, now and as their requirements grow.

23,329 tonnes 🤝 one record-breaking month!

July was our biggest month ever, with 23,329 tonnes processed, a milestone that reflects the dedication of our team, the trust our customers place in us, and the strong partnerships we’ve built across the industry.

But this is just the foundation for what’s next.

In August, we’ll move into our new headquarters, our biggest investment since the company was founded.

The new site will significantly increase our storage and processing capacity, streamline operations, improve workflow across the business and create the infrastructure needed to support our continued growth. It strengthens our ability to respond to customer demand, enhances service levels and gives us the space to invest further in people, technology and capability.

As we enter this next chapter, one thing remains the same: our commitment to quality, reliability and delivering for our customers every single day.

We’re proud to announce A. Hingley Transport as USP Steels’ primary logistics partner, strengthening our steel logistics network across the UK. 🚚

Over the past few months, the Hingley team has gone above and beyond to help us maintain on time steel deliveries, support complex customer requirements and keep our supply chain moving efficiently.

Together, we’re enhancing our logistics offering with live vehicle tracking, accurate ETAs, on site haulage support, 24/7 operations and next day delivery, giving customers greater visibility and confidence from order to delivery.

This partnership brings together two long established Black Country businesses with a shared focus on customer service, operational excellence and dependable steel distribution. As we continue to invest in our people, facilities and capabilities, having the right logistics partner is key to delivering the service our customers expect.
