What actually makes an AHU bespoke?

It’s not simply a case of making a standard unit bigger, smaller or a slightly different shape.

Every building brings its own requirements, which means an air handling unit can need to respond to everything from available plant space and airflow requirements to filtration, heat recovery, acoustics, controls, access and installation.

Our engineers consider how each element works as part of the complete unit and, importantly, how that unit will work as part of the building.

There can also be practical considerations beyond performance.
