This is more than your traditional technical role. You will be working closely across traceability, quality assurance, and preparation of materials, helping shape product and processes that involve performance, craftsmanship and sustainability.

Updates from the workshop⚙️

Amongst updating our Hull offices and carrying on client projects, we are planning some work on a lodge bathroom.

We’ll be utilising MYBoard, our sustainable alternative to plywood, to create some incredible bathroom tiles.

What’s the latest at the workshop? ⚙️

Alongside some exciting client projects, we are continuing to make new pieces for the Hull offices.

We are focusing on some new lounging spaces, building a sitting booth for staff to enjoy.

First step is cutting and welding steel to create the frame for the booth.

Next, MYBoard comes into play 😎

Some special visitors came up to see us in Hull earlier this week👀

A trip to Hull isn’t complete without a run down of our site, observing how we recycle and repurpose plastic and cosmetic waste and transform it into the MYBoard, our sustainable alternative to plywood 🛠️

And then, a tour of our textiles department, where our team deconstruct and repurpose textile waste into new clothing and accessories.

We made a table from baking trays 🚨

We’ve been busy creating some new pieces for the office...Take a look at the process behind our staff dining table!

To form the panelling, we cut panels out of baking trays and roasting tins.

Yes, you read that right.

Everything we make derives from waste, which includes returned stock and industry rejects. It’s our challenge to discover new ways of using returned stock in our work, saving materials from landfill 🛠️

To create the legs for the table, we utilised MYBoard, our sustainable plywood alternative created from hard-to-recycle waste.
