New day, new precision engineered part! 😮‍💨

This one came with its challenges - complex geometry, tight tolerances and specific material requirements that meant there was no room for error.

A proper test of focus and capability across the team, but as you can see, we hit the nail on the head!

Quality isn’t a final step for us, it runs through everything we do. 👍

Our AS9100 Rev D system ties the whole process together, from the moment a job comes in, through material checks and production, right up to final inspection and delivery.

Because we’re working in high-precision industries, we don’t leave anything to chance. Our metrology team sits completely independent from production, fully equipped and temperature-controlled, so every part is checked properly and consistently - whether that’s first-off inspection or full ISIRs and FAIRs.

Feels good to back onto the Hermle machines after the long weekend. 🙌

With our two Hermle ( Maschinenfabrik Berthold HERMLE AG ) AG 650 5-axis machines up and running again, we’re set up to take on complex, multi-sided components in a single hit with fewer setups, tighter control and consistently accurate results.

A lot of what makes a component reliable isn’t just how it’s machined, it’s how it’s managed through every stage of its journey. 👍

Our internal support processes allows us to stay closely involved right from the design stage, through to machining and all the way through to final finishing and assembly.

We’re always looking at ways to keep things running more smoothly and efficiently for our customers. 💪

One of the ways we do that is by using automation like the LANG Technik GmbH Eco Tower 60, which lets us load up to 60 workpieces and keep machines running for longer periods without stopping for manual changeovers.

It allows us to keep production moving even outside of normal hours, reduce downtime and maintain consistent quality across every part we produce - ideal for the demanding sectors we work with.

We're looking for an Inspector to join team JK to help maintain the conformity of highly complex components for demanding industries like aerospace, defence and robotics.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘆-𝘁𝗼-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲:
• Manual/visual inspection

You’ll be working in a fully equipped workshop, machining a wide range of complex components for industries including aerospace, motorsport and robotics.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴:
• Setting datums and preparing machines for operation
• Working to tight machining tolerances
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Managing material identification and control
