The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Engineer to join our team based in King’s Lynn. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent setting-out capability, and the confidence to manage engineering aspects of live sites.
You will work across a range of projects including:
Civil engineering and groundworks projects as Principal Contractor
Commercial and residential groundworks as Subcontractor
S278, S38 and S104 works as Principal Contractor and Subcontractor
You will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, and to programme, working closely with site management, commercial teams, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out for civil engineering and groundworks works
Managing and maintaining site control, levels, and surveys
Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme
Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and clients
Checking and coordinating design information and drawings
Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built information
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
About You
You will be able to demonstrate:
Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering and groundworks
Strong setting-out skills using GPS, total station, and traditional methods
Good technical understanding of highways, drainage, foundations, and external works
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks on live sites
SMSTS / SSSTS and CSCS (preferred)
