Few people have worked in the same place for 50 years but after 50 years Martin is today retiring from A.L.Paints.
Martin has worked alongside me for 39 years and has been a dedicated, conscientous collegue, never late, never off and the most helpful person to each and every customer.
We have endured many changes but Martin always adapted and his experience and wisdom of this trade has been invaluable. We were a great team and during Covid we took calls and placed orders outside the shop for uplift, our feet hardly touching the ground. I'll never forget that time in our lives.
I cannot thank Martin enough for his time here and above all his friendship and support.
Martin is off on his travels and his love of Kilmarnock Football Club is paramount, but I hope he'll find time to visit us often.
