AWD’s 2026 carbon management report highlights continued progress in reducing environmental impact.

Total emissions for the year were 16.8 tonnes CO2e, equating to 1.86 tonnes per employee — below typical office-based industry averages.

This represents an 11% reduction compared to 2025, driven in part by changes in travel and ongoing efficiency improvements.

Work continues towards a target of 1 tonne per employee by 2030.

Working across the UK and internationally is a core part of what we do, so it’s particularly rewarding to be involved in a project on our doorstep.
