INSIGHT INTO INTELLIGENT DISPENSING FOR COATINGS MANUFACTURING AT ACS 2026.
At the American Coatings Show 2026 in Indianapolis, United States, Rexson Systems (a member of IM GROUP) showcased its ColorPoint™ dispensing system through expert discussions and technical presentations, highlighting its role in improving precision, repeatability, and efficiency in coatings production environments.

Enrico Mattiazzi, General Manager Americas, IM GROUP, explained:

REXSON COLORPOINT DISPENSER PREPARES FOR SHIPMENT TO SOUTH AFRICA
Another ColorPoint™ dispensing system by Rexson Systems (a member of IM GROUP) is currently in final assembly and testing at our facility ahead of shipment to South Africa for deployment in the paper converting and packaging industry.

ColorPoint™ is a multi-stage valve dispensing solution for moderate output production environments requiring high accuracy, repeatability, and cost efficiency. It integrates up to 32 precision dispensing valves, an electronic weighing scale, and IM GROUP’s IMAGO software to deliver self-calibrating, weight-controlled dispensing. Full traceability is enabled through barcode and QR-code integration via the IMAESTRO Mobile App.

Available for both water- and solvent-based products, ColorPoint™ supports “Right First Time”, “Just-In-Time”, and “Just-Enough” production principles, ensuring delivery only when required with minimal waste and maximum efficiency.

For manufacturers in the paper converting and packaging sector, this translates into improved batch consistency, reduced material waste, simplified production planning, and seamless integration with ERP and MRP platforms for digital manufacturing environments.

We would like to thank Monsieur Jacques MENICUCCI, Président de la Fipec (Fédération des Industries des Peintures, Encres, Colles, Couleurs et Résines), the FIPEC delegation, the Eurocoat Paris Exhibition organisers and all those who visited Rexson Systems at the exhibition, which concluded last week.

It was an engaging show, allowing us to connect with industry professionals on the growing role of automation and digitalisation in modern coatings production. We were particularly impressed by the level of interest in the integration of our software solutions and the importance placed on precision dispensing to ensure consistent, repeatable, and efficient manufacturing processes.
