This particular commission was for award-winning interior designer Charlotte Findlater Design family home near Kirkby Lonsdale. To be more precise, the idea for this spiral staircase originated from Isabella, Charlotte’ family home near Kirkby Lonsdale. To be more precise, the idea for this spiral staircase originated from Isabella, Charlotte’s nine-year-old daughter.

Charlotte’s design is to echo the Warhol ‘tin can’ theme in the adjacent bathroom, with the holes in the side of the staircase frame representing air bubbles in water.
