Huns!
We are very excited to say that soon you will be able to build Attila's army and terrorise the Romans from the East.
We've gone all out on this set, with a light cavalry frame with 6 bodies, plus a new horse frame reflecting the shorter and stockier steppe-nomad type horses the Huns would have likely used.
For those interested, the horses we have sculpted are based on the Przewalski horse also called the Takhi. A steppe pony of the Central Asian steppes and used by the Mongols and Huns. It has a distinctive Roman nose, thicker neck and stiff main. A hardy and rugged animal that was well suited to the harsh conditions on the steppes.
There's also a separate heavy/elite cavalry set, containing parts to make Atilla himself!
Thanks to the Huns being a fascinating bunch, we were able to add a many interesting features to these sets, including heads with cranial deformation (an ancient technique to lengthen skulls) as well as cool weapon options such as the lasso and the powerful Hunnic bow.
