What do you enjoy most about your role?
What I enjoy most is seeing the impact of Procurement across the business. The decisions we make directly affect production, continuity, cost control, and overall efficiency. I find it really rewarding to work closely with suppliers and internal teams to make sure materials are available when needed, while also driving value through better sourcing and supplier performance.
How would you describe your job in three words?
Challenging. Impactful. Collaborative.
What’s been one of the biggest challenges you’ve faced in your role?
Balancing supplier price increases while still delivering value is a constant challenge. It requires a balanced approach, challenging suppliers where appropriate, while understanding the drivers behind increases and finding smarter ways to work.
If you could try a different department for a day, which would it be — and why?
If I could spend a day in another team, it’d be Sales. They’re speaking directly with Partners every day, and seeing things from their perspective would help me make more commercially informed decisions in Procurement.
