We’re really proud to share a recent project we’ve completed for Brighouse Central Foodbank ❤️
The food bank originally contacted us looking to match an existing railing, but after speaking with Rachel it quickly became clear the project was more involved than first thought. Rachel had real concerns about the safety of people using the stairs, but with the building being Grade 2 listed, adding a permanent new feature wasn’t an option.
Working together, we came up with a solution that put safety first while respecting the building. We removed the existing railing and installed two brand-new fixed rails, along with an additional removable rail to meet the restrictions. All rails were galvanised and finished in black to blend in and keep the building’s aesthetics intact.
A great example of problem-solving, teamwork and using practical fabrication to make a real difference in the community. Thanks to Rachel and the team at Brighouse Central Foodbank for trusting us with the job 🙌
