South West Compactor Services SWCS Ltd is a family-run company specialising in the service and maintenance of recycling equipment SWCS was established in 2005 by Mike Connor.

SWCS Ltd is a family-run company specialising in the service and maintenance of recycling equipment including waste compactors, cardboard balers, document shredders and MRFs. Located midway between Plymouth and Exeter, SWCS is ideally situated to serve the South West. Our recycling engineers aim to respond to breakdowns within 24 hours with faults usually diagnosed and repaired on the first visit.

Mike has more than 30 years experience in heavy plant engineering and has worked in the waste and recycling industry for the past 20 years. He is respected in the field as one of the top recycling engineers in the South West and as a result SWCS have been requested to provide their services to a number of reputable national companies. Thanks to his experience and the company's commitment to first-class service SWCS has enjoyed growing success and its client base continues to expand

Loaded in Ireland Saturday morning and delivery Thursday morning lifted by south west crain hire.

What a hectic week. Exeter MRF run by Matt Hulland reported M3 conveyor not working. Quick trip and diagnostic that the motor has burnt out 10 meters up. Cherry picking from ltc & lorry and hiab hired in from south west crain hire. Remove the gearbox that had been in situ for nearly 20 years was a bit stubborn. With a 20 ton pocket jack it let go. New gearbox and motor ordered and fitted. Job in the bag. 👍👌👍

Well today is our 20th year trading as South West Compactor Services. I would like to thank all of my loyal customers and all the friends I have made along the way. I can remember invoice No. 1 was Viridor and today invoice 13012 was Exeter City Council MRF run by Matt Hulland
