We were recently made aware of The Bus Shelter Ipswich and their JustGiving fundraising campaign to try and raise £1000 to cover the cost of 4 new tyres on their Outreach Bus ‘Chey’. The vehicle was not able to carry out its duties without their replacement and they struggled to raise the funds required, so HB Tyres stepped in and fitted a full set of drive axle JK Tyre tyres.

In order to further support the charity we asked The Bus Shelter to keep any funds raised on their JustGiving page and donated and fitted the full set of tyres, we are delighted to be able to help this project that provides support to individuals and families facing homelessness, addiction and other challenging circumstances in Suffolk.

HB Commercial are committed and proud to support our local community.

When one of our staff members mentioned that his daughter's school football team wouldn't be able to travel to the regional football finals they had qualified for due to the school's lack of funding to pay for a minibus we stepped in to cover the costs for them.

They only went and qualified for the national finals!! We are delighted to help them and well done from everyone at HB Commercial.

A massive thanks to our friends at CP Transport. for helping us load our scrap tyre container for HB Tyres onto a trailer ready for delivery to our recycling partner.

After an extremely busy period, our scrap had filled the container as soon as the last one was emptied. With our forklift unavailable and a quick phone call to CP’s transport team their Megalift was on site and our container was loaded on and ready to go within 30 minutes

HB Tyres have a Zero Landfill Policy. All old tyre casings generated by our business are 100% recycled into a variety of products.

While this is a more expensive way of disposing of old casings, it is the most ethical and environmentally friendly method and another reason why HB Tyres are the area’s leading commercial tyre supplier.
