We never get bored of seeing these beautiful yachts have their masts stepped. This Oyster Yachts 595 recently had an Axxon Composites - The innovative carbon mast company mast fitted, with our in-house team managing the lift, installation and set-up of the rig.

Commercial vessels are always an impressive sight out of the water. This Ocean Transit catamaran has just been hauled out at Fox’s for routine maintenance. Built for demanding offshore operations, she’s usually at work in the North Sea, supporting the offshore wind industry.

Work is underway to improve and develop the hoist dock, with preparations now in progress for the removal of an old pile that has been in place for many years as part of the previous hoist dock layout.

The preparation and subsequent removal form part of the wider programme to level out the hoist dock and improve access during low tides, creating an accessible dock for future operations.

The specialist works are being carried out in partnership with Red7 Diving, Rampling Civil Engineering Ltd , Roy Humphrey Group Cranes, and Watson & Hillhouse Ltd , bringing together specialist diving, piling, lifting and engineering expertise to safely prepare for the removal of the redundant pile.

This is an exciting stage in the ongoing development of the hoist dock, with further improvements planned to enhance the facility and increase its capability for future operations.

A bit of clever engineering beneath the surface of this Cobra Yacht S42, which has been in at Fox’s for the installation of a new retractable bow thruster. A neat upgrade that will make manoeuvring that little bit easier.
