Full-Time Admin Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday (flexible for the right applicant)

A & L Stronach Ltd is a well-established, family-run business specialising in forklift sales, hire, service, and spares. We are the main dealers for the CAT Lift Truck range in the North of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities

✳️ Customer Service: Answer phone calls, manage client/supplier enquiries, and handle hire, sales, and service requests.

✳️Service Administration: Schedule equipment maintenance, allocate labour hours from timesheets, and maintain service records.

✳️Financial Support: Price spare parts from the supply chain and prepare maintenance/repair estimates.

✳️Operations & Media: Manage stock levels, input data using InspHire office software, and oversee social media platforms.

Requirements

✳️IT Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Excel.

✳️Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

✳️Traits: Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as a team.

✳️Experience (Preferred but not essential): Prior experience in a hire/repair business or using InspHire software (full training provided).
