Inverness floorball is looking for players, whether you are new to stick sports or have played ( field hockey, ice hockey, shinty etc) floorball has lots to offer:
In terms of physical health and exercise, it can be fast paced (cardio), physical but non contact, good for hand eye co-ordination and also agility.
Benefits to mental health include, connection in the team sport aspect, as well as social connection, Stress Regulation through endorphins, better sleep via being active, Cognitive sharpness through decision making and usage of skills.
Training sessions are open to all and available every Friday at Millburn Academy from 8pm-9pm, requirements are simply gym clothing and a water bottle, we have sticks to get you started.
