Supporting grassroots sport and giving young players opportunities to grow in confidence, teamwork, and ability is something we’re proud to be part of.

Over the years it’s been fantastic watching the team develop both on and off the pitch.

As a family-run local business, supporting our community has always been important to us.

After another successful season, Saturday girls winning the treble and Sunday girls finishing 5th in division one. We continue to wish the girls success for the future 👏

A Day in the life of a lift engineer at Bridge lifts

“Please help — our lift has no lights working in the car!”

Another day, another call out for the team.

From fault finding and emergency breakdowns to getting lifts safely back up and running, no two days are ever the same in the life of a lift engineer.

Today’s issue? Complete loss of car lighting.
After diagnosing the fault and carrying out repairs, the lift was safely back in service and fully operational again.

It’s not always glamorous, but keeping people moving safely is what we do best.

⚽💙 At Ilkeston Town FC, we are committed to encouraging more women and girls to take part in sport and physical activity — and that means creating an environment where everyone feels supported.

One thing we want girls to know is this: periods are not a problem. They happen, and we are prepared. 🙌

Thanks to a generous donation of period packs from Active Derbyshire 🎁, girls attending our sessions now have access to essential products whenever they need them.

🩸 We also want to raise awareness of the impact monthly cycles can have on overall wellbeing, while helping to break down the stigma that still surrounds these conversations.

Too many girls drop out of sport because of their periods — but we know how powerful sport can be for:
✨ Confidence
✨ Personal growth
✨ Physical health
✨ Mental wellbeing

That’s why, at Ilkeston Town FC, we’re committed to starting the conversation and making sure every girl feels comfortable, supported, and able to play. 💪⚽
