My soft hammer needed a new "hard" side. A piece of leftover delrin saves the day!

I now have a small milling capability!

First job is to clean up the lathes previous owners butchery of the compound slide when they "adapted" it for a quick change tool post, seemingly with an angle grinder!

Quickly followed by turning up a new center pin.

Setup should run much stiffer now and allow me to tighten up my tolerances a smidge 🤞🏻

Gear k**b made in Delrin to customer dimensions with brass insert to bring the weight up to just over 150g. Threaded M12x1.25

I can produce most round parts for any project you may require up to 90mm diameters, whether it be steel, aluminium, brass or nylon. I aim to work to a tolerance of within +/-0.04mm.

I can cut internal and external threads in both metric and imperial.
