Our image shows a magnetic rotor contaminated with brake dust after years of service. It will be meticulously cleaned by hand before reassembly.

We wish to appoint a Group Business Development Manager. It's an exciting, challenging role working from our base in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Companies in the Westin Engineering group have decades of experience in specifying and distributing electro-mechanical and electronic products. They are established within the industrial, offshore and maritime markets and have customers dating back 30+ years.

We seek an experienced, results-driven individual. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be the key driver in developing business. Our ideal candidate will have a commercial mindset and the ability to translate strategic objectives into sales plans.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Monitor sales metrics, prepare regular performance reports, and provide insights to the board.

The AEMT says: 'The judging panel, which included independent experts, press representatives and our sponsoring companies, spent a great deal of time analysing, discussing, and scoring every entry, to deliver the shortlist. So, a huge congratulations for making it through this rigorous process and being selected as a 2025 AEMT Award Finalist.' This year's winners will be revealed at the AEMT gala awards ceremony on Thursday, November 20.

Some forward thinking customers ask to have their servo motors reconditioned before any failures occur. Take these two which arrived for a scheduled overhaul. As part of our standard process, each was stripped, cleaned, inspected, and tested. One needed a replacement fan, a common issue we’re well-equipped to handle.

We were honoured to be part of the AEMT Conference and 80th year celebration at the British Motor Museum in Warwick.

It was a great opportunity to meet with our industries professionals and discuss our servo motor repair offering.
