Big extraction for a serious setup 🔧

We’ve just completed the install of this 4m x 3m spray booth with a 710mm extraction duct running straight through the roof.

To keep everything running properly in all weather, the system is finished with a High Velocity weather cowl to stop rain coming back down the ducting while still allowing full airflow.

The roof pe*******on has been fully flashed and sealed, keeping everything completely watertight while the booth pulls out overspray and fumes efficiently.

Clean install. Proper airflow. Built to last.

Bespoke problems need bespoke solutions. 💪

This custom-built trolley was designed and fabricated to allow the safe extraction of a 2-tonne motor, with zero room for error. Due to tight site restrictions, height, width, and length had to be precise to the millimetre — no off-the-shelf option would cut it.

Engineered for strength, stability, and smooth movement under extreme load, this trolley did exactly what it was built to do: get the job done safely and efficiently.

From concept to completion, this is custom fabrication doing what it does best. 🔧⚙️

🔥 Fresh off the bench – custom stainless weights, fully TIG welded from start to finish! 🔥

We started with raw stainless plate, precisionly laser cut and prepped for clean joints. Each piece was positioned, tacked, and then TIG welded to create a strong, seamless pyramid base. Once the frames were complete, we added threaded stainless bar for adjustability and a cross handle for easy grip.

Every weld was laid down with precision to ensure strength and a clean finish – no shortcuts, just solid craftsmanship. The end result? A set of rugged, industrial-grade stainless weights built to last a lifetime. 💪✨

Small entrance fence fabricated to stop children running out into the road.

Fully welded construction, powder coated in a zinc primer followed by gloss white to give maximum protection for when the weather takes a turn for the worse.

Defender footwell replacement, always worse than originally expected!

We now have the keys to our workshop. This will enable us to carry out more in-house task, including fabrication and welding.

We are looking forward to getting started with the first job in this unit, this being a set of powder coated steel and glass balustrades.

On-site welding repairs carried out on a stillage for Lynda's transport this week.

Cracked welds ground out, re-welded and a strengthening plate added.
