We are once again looking for another apprentice to join our team. In the past we have had great success with our apprentices and they have all turned out to be great engineers and this is something I would like to continue with.
The successfull applicant will be trained in all aspects of CCTV and alarm systems, linked with a three year college course. (Please be aware that the college do require certain academic grades especially English and Maths).
Any applicant must be able to get to and from Horncastle on a daily basis.

New Man, New Van.

We are really pleased to have Michael join us this week. Michael is a senior engineer with vast knowledge and experience in both alarms and fire systems and will be a great asset to the company. With the tremendous team we have now, we can provide the complete security package for our existing and new clients.

This was an interesting little project for Wolds Wildlife Park to get a camera to watch the bears while they hibernate. The cage is in total darkness and the tricky bit was trying to position the camera somewhere where it, or the engineer wouldn't get eaten. This live video feed is displayed on a monitor outside the pen so all the visitors can still see them over the winter.

With an ever increase in the number companies supplying and installing security systems, especially CCTV, I would strongly recommend using a certified company for all your installation and servicing work.
There are so many elements to being certified and we get audited on installations, fault response times, data compliance, business insurance and staff vetting. Chosing a certified company guarantees all of the factors mentioned above. Security is an important investment so please don't always chose the cheapest quote; cheap doesn't always mean best value.

To protect your property and yourself, SSAIB offer Certification to Security firms, and a list of all Certified providers so you are able to make the right decision.

Today's project was to install a full internet WiFi system at one of our customer's pubs, ready for the opening on Saturday. To try and meet social distancing guidelines the pub is implementing a system where all ordering is done at the table via an app so internet coverage throughout the building is crucial.

This is part of a recent safeguarding project that we have been working on for a local school. The scheme involved five vehicle gates,three pedestrian gates and a school wide CCTV system.
All gates have video intercoms back to the office and vehicular access is granted by the use of automatic number plate reading cameras.
It's been a big project for us but one which has come together really well and everyone is happy with the end result.

Technology is improving all the time and this image is taken at nearly 10:00pm with no additional lighting, only a bit of moonlight.
On this particular installation we just recommended and supplied the equipment for the customer to install and I must admit they were happy with the the results.
