We were asked by to fabricate a set of bespoke metal windbreak frames for .ie over in Ireland 🇮🇪

Built to be solid, clean, and built to last — all designed to tie in with the overall finish of the space while standing up to the elements 🌧️💨

Always good working alongside other skilled trades to bring a project together 👌

Back to the 1970s today 🏁
One foot in circa 1979, fettling a Wycombe Racing 80 kart chassis, the other parked firmly in 1975 with the Triumph Dolomite keeping watch beside it.
Steel, petrol, and proper engineering — when racing was raw, simple, and built by hand.
Nothing digital. Nothing disposable. Just craftsmanship and history sharing the same workshop floor.

Haven’t posted many updates on the Dolomite lately… but here’s what I’ve been up to 👇

🔧 New heart fitted — MX-5 1.8 VVT running Jenvey throttle bodies, controlled by a Motorsport Electronics ME360 ECU
🦾 Custom Cages roll cage fully TIG-welded in
⚡️ Fibreglass boot, bonnet & wings now on
🛞 Test-fitted the BBS RS wheels 😍
📦 Oh, and squeezed in a full workshop move too… because why make life easy? 😅

Plenty still to do, but it’s starting to feel real now. Big steps for the Dolly project 💪 Stay tuned!

Just got the cutter up and running, powered by the P51D plasma cutter — all supplied by the legends at 💪

Can’t wait to start cutting out some serious projects with this setup — smooth, precise, and seriously satisfying to watch in action ⚙️⚡
