RS Refrigeration Services are an ISO 9001 accredited company based in Hook, Hampshire that has been established for over 40 years. Specialising in the design and installation of high quality commercial refrigeration and air conditioning solutions. With over 40 years’ experience, we have built our reputation on maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

We are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Service Engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience servicing and maintaining commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. You will need good diagnostic skills and have the ability to attend site alone.

We provide tailored service & maintenance packages to our customer base. You will be required to carry out both reactive and preventive maintenance & service work on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. We offer a 24-hour breakdown service to our contract customers only and you would share the responsibility for emergency breakdowns with our team of engineers. Our stand-by rota is currently 1 week in 6.

You must be competent and confident in your ability to complete work to a high standard and build a good rapport with the customers.

Our ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 5 year experience servicing and breakdowns
• F-Gas Cat 1
• CSCS / CITB Skills card
• City & Guilds / NVQ 2 refrigeration & air conditioning
• Full UK driving license
• Good communication skills and work ethic
• Enjoy working as part of a team as well as alone

This is a 45-hour contract paid door to door with overtime paid @ rate of 1.5 Monday-Saturday and double time on Sunday’s. You will be provided you with a company van, work phone, tablet, specialist tools, PPE and full uniform to ensure you have everything you need to complete your role to the best possible standard.

We install bespoke systems and provide tailored service & maintenance packages for our contract customers only covering out of hours call outs, including weekends and you would share this responsibility with our team of engineers. Our stand by call out rota is currently being on call 1 week in every 6.

You must be competent and confident in your ability to complete work to a high standard and build a good rapport with the customers. You will also be computer IT and App literate as all of our jobs are logged and sent to our engineers via Simpro.

Our client base consists of end users only. We do not work with supermarket or retail contracts.

Our ideal candidate would meet the following qualifications as a minimum requirement:

• NVQ level 2 & 3 or City & Guilds Level 2
• F-gas Cat 1 qualified
• Brazing certificate
• CSCS / CITB Skills card
• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Good verbal communication skills
• Based around A3, M3 & M4 corridor
• Full UK driving license
• Able to work within a team and maintain an effective communication line between customers, colleagues and management.
• IPAF
• PASMA Certification of Competence
• CO2 Refrigeration
• 18th Edition Electrical

This is a salary package, paid door to door with the option of paid overtime. Your basic salary is negotiable depending on your experience and qualification.
