At Control Freaks, apprenticeships aren't just a recruitment pathway. They're an investment in the future of our industry.

Chris joined Control Freaks in 2025, bringing with him more than 20 years of experience in warehouse management, production management and logistics within the food manufacturing industry.

Chris was brought into Control Freaks to help develop and manage our materials, stock control and warehouse operations. As a completely new role within the business, Chris has been instrumental in building processes and systems from the ground up.

Meet James, our Electrical Supervisor.

James joined Control Freaks back in 2014 after studying Electrical Installation and Electrical Engineering at college. Starting out as a first-year apprentice, he’s worked his way up through the business and now plays a key role supervising projects and mentoring apprentices across the team.

With Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Electrical Installation and Electrical Engineering, James is known for delivering neat, efficient work and helping keep projects running smoothly.

One of the things James enjoys most about working at Control Freaks is the variety:
